'07 Silverado - Rattle at Low Speeds?

Recommended Posts

Here's the deal....

I have an '07 (new style) reg cab 4wd with just over 150k on it

The past few weeks it has developed a weird rattle sound in the front end driver's side

It's not super loud, and it's not constant, but just comes on and off very frequently, and only when I'm going 40mph or less

It sounds just like a weird vibration, like there's something lose somewhere, but I can't pinpoint it

It is not triggered by bumps or braking or accelerating, it just comes and goes every 10-20 seconds and is SUPER ANNOYING

I took it to my mechanic who found & fixed a ton of other issues (sway bar, ball joints, cv shaft, serpentine belt, axle gaskets, differential, radiator supports, etc)

$2000 later and it's still making the same noise!!!

I'm not a mechanic and am asking everybody I know what they think it might be

Hoping somebody here might be able to help

Any & all ideas or suggestions is much appreciated!!!
