HI All,

Lately I have experienced an odd issue with my 2016 GMC Sierra.

It will not allow me to lock or unlock the doors via the keyfob (yes the batteries are good).

I go to open the driver's door manually via the key and use the switch on the door and when I press either lock or unlock, I get NOTHING....no sounds, no doors unlocking, nothing.

Once again, try the key fob(s) and nothing.

I start the truck, drive away and about 2-3 minute of driving, when I try the door controls, low and behold, they work again.

Has anyone else ever experienced this?

I figured I'd ask here before calling my dealer to schedule an appointment.

Let me know if you need more context, but I think it is pretty clear.

Cheers!

But would that happen with BOTH key fobs?

The issue is present no matter which key fob I use.

Do the locks auto lock once you put it in gear and start driving or does that not work either

No, they do not.
