Broken steering wheel volume control

Well I successfully swapped my volume control switch out. It did release the short that caused the other control buttons to lock out however the volume control switch that I just installed doesn’t work. I’m wondering if it’s a bad switch or if there is a fuse some where?

Check for codes in the radio control module and then clear them. See if that helps. Radio control module gets a code it will limit power to that circuit. By removing the switch and the battery still connected it may have flagged a code.
