2014 silverado rack and pinion

I have a problem, my rack and pinion finally gave out and now I'm searching for a used one because I dont have the funds for a brand new one. I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 4x4 regular cab. I was told that I need one from a regular cab that the crew cab or extended cab do not fit. Does anyone know if this is true ?

I was thinking they can't cost too much and I was wrong about $1,000.
Maybe find one in a junk yard see if you can score it for $100-150. Or is there a option for core rebuilds?
Good news looks like easy install.
I cant see how there are different racks for different bodies.

I removed it already it only took about 30 mins. I opened my rack open and the belt was just ripped but I couldn't find the part. As for the junk yard, I've called multiple places and they all tell me that only regular cabs fit. I just placed an order on ebay for 400 hopefully it's the right part.

can you post a picture of the belt, how many miles do you have one the truck
