Need Help!

Since purchasing my 2018 Silverado with the 6.2L motor and 8-speed transmission I have had nothing but problems. I've been to the dealer who tells me the truck is operating as designed. I am wondering if anyone has been able to fix the following issues with their trucks:

1) Shifts from 1st to 2nd gear are WAY harder than any other shift.

2) Truck literally shakes when in Park and idling. You can feel it shuttering in the seat.

3) When starting after using remote start, occasionally truck will lurch forward.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have same configuration only a 2017.
On items 1 and 2, I have same issue, nothing can be done on 1-2 shift. Rough idle as well, but previous truck did it too. Both are considered normal.

Haven't expirenced the remote start concern.

I have the same configuration as you.  I experience #3 occasionally.  In my case, lurch is a rather strong word.  There is some very slight movement.  It happens so infrequently I have not had it looked into.

I would follow the GM complaint process if you are not receiving a satisfactory response from your local dealership.  My last three trucks were new GM's and not one of them regularly clunked, lurched or shuttered. I would not accept this as normal in an' 18.  Be persistent but be polite.  "Operating as designed" as an initial diagnosis is popular with warranty claims.  My experience is that when a problem is presented for a second time, they come up with a better response!

Unfortunately I've been through the Customer Care process twice now.  It accomplishes nothing.  They say there is nothing to fix with regard to the transmission.  "It's operating as designed" is what the explanation is.  Beyond frustrated...
