4x4 indicator

Hi! My first post!

 

Just bought a 2003 Silverado 2500HD. The push buttons for the 2 and 4 wheel drive don’t light up. The four wheel drive works does engage and it works fine, it’s just the little buttons don’t light up. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks!

Probably the lights in the switch have finally failed.  Either put in another switch or open it up and replace the lights with new bulbs or LEDs (if led's, you may have to modify the buttons themselves to make them appear white afterwards, even if you use white led's).

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention the person I bought it from already replaced the switch assembly and that didn’t fix it.
