New 2019 GMC Sierra Elevation...radio stuck in ringing loop....

Got truck a week ago or so. A few days ago my phone (Samsung Note 9) was connected via bluetooth. Got a call, hit answer. All it would do was play the ringing sound over the speakers. If I disconnected bluetooth on the phone I could talk on the phone but the truck still played the ringing sound. Long story short, it locked up like that and I had to take to the dealer. They did a global reset. They claim its the phones baseband and actual said there is a service bulletin about this (PIT5655B). They said I need to update my phone. Well, my phone is up to date, so what exactly am I suppose to do?

I think I would have shot the radio or the dealer or maybe both. I have read that weird things happen on these trucks and disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes can reset things. My park assist quit working and all the dealer did was disconnect the battery to fix it.
