Audio apps

Do you have to have the WiFi or onstar to use the audio apps? Downloaded Iheart radio but doesn't work.

As I understand it yes, I have WiFi and it works so I can’t really tell you.

Yes, as soon as my 30 day wifi trial ran out, my spotify app stopped working. I can make my phone a hotspot and it will work again but bluetooth is easier.

Cool that's what I figured. Would have been nice of GM to give like 6 months of trial service. Mine was expired before I really started understanding half the stuff on the truck. Might have been worth paying for, IDK. Have unlimited data on the phone so use BT and AA.

in my 16 you got 2 free gigs until it ran out. i liked that approach better.
