Looks great...did anyone count how many times he almost wiped out? His "uh oh uh oh" comments about 2/3rd's of the way through were funny.

He was doing that on purpose. He jerked the wheel a few times just for sh*ts and giggles.

That's very similar to the rear wheel drive Lumina's and V-8 Caprices I drove overseas. Those were also made by Holden. I had fun but not as much as the guy in the video! I want one. If they don't import or make those here, I might have to go back and aquire one and sneak it in!

Yes, Holden builds those, slaps a Chevy bowite and name on them and then sells them through GM Middle east.

We give these guys kick arse cars and they drive planes into our buildings. Ungreatful bastards!!

Well, not all of them are ungrateful. With the exception of a few spoiled punks, the Kuwaiti's are for the most part grateful for what America did for them in the first Gulf war. A lot of them are educated here and they like American stuff. A few risked their lives hiding westerners from the invading iraqi forces.

Per capita, I don't think you will find more Caprices (original American ones and the new Holden made) anywhere in the world. They seem to be a national treasure. A lot of students will buy a original Caprice here and ship them back home. It must be easy to import them into Kuwait. I bet it's difficult to ship them out of Kuwait. Like I said, they almost seem like a national treasure.

Sububans, Tahoe's and Yukons are really popular in Kuwait nowadays as are Toyota Land Cruisers.

I did ask a Pakistani there why they liked Caprices so much. There were many stories but this one is my favorite:

Following the Liberation of Kuwait, the electrical power plants and distribution was unreliable because the damage the Iraqis inflicted on Kuwaits infrastructure. The summer temps can go as high as 140 degrees. During an extended power outage, I took my family out of the house and we stayed in the Caprice with the airconditioner running. It was well known that the Caprice was among the few cars that can idle long periods without overheating. In fact, the gauge barely left the middle of the scale.

He would have made a great GM ad.

Agreed, but you know I was being sarcastic and outside of Kuwait, we have few fans over there.

Yeah, I figured you were being sarcastic. I thought I'd share the GM story. You are right about our "fans" there! I've personally seen a few of them! Luckily they were being cuffed and stuffed.
