Recommended Posts

I posted early that I am wanting to put some new shoes on my truck but you have all said I need more height up front other than just my 2.5 lift. if I replace the shocks can I get an extra 1" in height? if yes what shocks would you all recommend?

thanks again for all the help and advice.

What style setup do you want on your truck? Offset for your rims make a huge difference. I ran Bilstein front adjustable coilovers and loved them. I didn’t see your other post, but what is your current setup?

First off, leveling will cause rubbing as soon as you add larger tires to it with those stamped upper control arms. I know this cause it happened to me and caused me to get new wheels and again new wheels once I decided to go slightly taller with my lift. What is it you hope to achieve? Word of advice, I’ll never level again, lift is the way to go and you’ll be much much happier with its ride versus leveling.

Also, a bracket lift will not widen your track width and worsen your turning radius.
