2 issues with my 2017 Z71 Silverado 1500 crew cab

If anyone can advise on these two strange issues?  Dealership where I bought this 2017 Z71 All-Star Edition black Silverado are saying they "..can't confirm anything or see any codes so goodbye.  Let us know if it happens again I guess.."

 

Issue #1:  about a month or two into owning the truck (again bought brand new) I would go into reverse and the lines would vanish and "Service rear camera system" would come onto the main radio head unit display.  I took a picture to show the dealership but it is very random and happens maybe once a month?

 

Issue #2:  in the gas station yesterday and turned motor off to pump.. hop back in and crank it up to see "Service 4WD System" or something in my central smaller display where I can Dismiss it.. I panic.. as I always drive in 2wd (but usually turn on tow mode for the better driving performance).  I turn the truck off.. and the "Service 4WD" is on there again .. I start it back up (after taking a picture) and it's there.. so I call the service dept. and the girl says to bring it in (they're open on Sundays).  I head over, the kid checks for codes, says there's none.. and of course the message now doesn't come back on but I show him the picture.. he tells me bye, and to bring it back if it happens again.  I get home, check emails and notice an email from my on star about the detection of an engine or transmission issue and to take the truck into the shop within 7 days.. 

 

Any ideas on these????   Thanks!! Jeff

As I always say YOU need to request a printout of all sec history. Do not take random service boys word for anything. Even if there is no code on the dash the history holds that code. I would reflash all the radio software after checking all connections. The code would tell you exactly where to look down to the wire itself but as we don't have that now start at step one.

It’s a sad state of affairs how correct SLOW1500 is about this. You need to physically see the list, as you can’t depend on or trust what you’re told half the time.
