So iv had the truck a while I put a shity lift on it and then finely upgraded to a full bds 4 inch lift with bds upper a arms it seems as if the casters don’t have enough adjustment to align the front in property the shops says this is the only truck they have ever had problems with it’s eating the inside of the tire bad and I need some help or if anyone has had this problem before what can I do to fix it or should I just go back factory witch would be a long shot at this point

My inside of tires ate up real bad even after numerous alignments, and that was keeping truck entirely stock.  This was part of my decision to start replacing worn ball joints and things

After replacing everything, control arms, tie rod, etc, my tires were aligned and they no longer get chewed up on corners.   I had a couple thoughts why.

control arms have thick rubber and metal bushings that connect to the truck frame.  I imagine worn bushings mess with an accurate alignment and cause more play when stressed like being squat on the ground.  Same goes for the balljoints that attach to the knuckle.   It is also possible your alignment hardware is worn out from rust or corrosion.  I have no clue what the process is for aligning but from what I understand they throw it on a rack and then get it as close as possible.  Ive never heard a shop say how well it went!

Maybe replace your sway bar rubber bushings too.   I dont think alignment racks take into account the end result once your truck gets off the lift and sits on the ground.

Im definitely interested in hearing about other thoughts!

I know it has been a long time since you posted, but wanted to know the outcome.  I did the exact same thing as you.  Shitty Superlift lift/level and then 4 inch BDS lift this weekend.  Shop cannot get the truck back in alignment especially with the caster.  I think they got the camber and toe.  I have a 2021 GMC Sierra SLT.  3.0 ecodiesel.

Thanks.
