I have a 2015 silverado 2500 HD and the wipers run at the same speed on low and high. I have searched everywhere and cannot find any information on a fix. I replaced the wiper motor and it did not fix it. The fuse is OK. Anyone have ideas?

Welcome to this forum.  It is unfortunate that you didn't inquire before replacing the motor! ?   I had the same initial thought as duquephart.  but the problem could also be a be a poor  connection or severed wire.   Personally, I'd save myself further aggravation and take it to a pro at a reputable service centre.  He or she will have the proper tools, knowledge, and won't simply guess!

Yes, I know there are bad experiences out there but I've had good luck in finding skilled mechanics.

Its not even skilled, its giving a shit imo. I’d think every career mechanic has enough skill to properly diagnose. It just takes a lot of time.

i have never found a mechanic that didnt just replace parts to solve a problem.

other than the dealer, which thankfully has a step by step process for diagnosis which works some of the time

FIRST TELL CUSTOMER WE HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM OR EVER HAD ANYONE ELSE COMPLAIN ABOUT IT (even though 5 people come in daily with same complaint)

Step #1

TELL CUSTOMER THAT THE TECH CAN’T DUPLICATE PROBLEM

Step #2

BLAME PROBLEM (NO MATTER WHAT IT IS) ON ANY/ALL AFTERMARKET/NON GM PARTS INSTALLED ANYWHERE ON VEHICLE

Step #3

CONVINCE CUSTOMER THE PROBLEM IS ALL IN THEIR HEAD AND/OR THEIR FAULT AND/OR IMPROPER USE CAUSE THEY DON’T KNOW HOW TO USE THEIR VEHICLE

Step #4

TELL CUSTOMER THAT WE JUST FOUND A NEW TSB FOR PROBLEM AND THAT ALL WE CAN DO IS WHAT IT SAYS TO DO AND THAT’S ALL WE CAN DO CAUSE GM WON’T LET US DO ANYTHING ELSE CAUSE THAT’S ALL WE CAN DO SO THAT IS ALL WE DID CAUSE THAT’S ALL WE CAN DO CAUSE THAT’S WHAT IT SAYS TO DO

Step #5

IF HOURLY EMPLOYEE SIP “FREE” COFFEE AND ENJOY A “CUSTOMER WAITING ROOM” DONUT WHILE STARING AT THE CLOCK WAITING FOR LUNCH/END OF DAY TO COME

IF FLAT RATE EMPLOYEE LOOK FOR OTHER EMPLOYMENT ON JOB SEARCH SITES CAUSE YOU AIN’T MAKING ANY MONEY HERE AND NEVER WILL AT .0005 OF AN HOUR FOR DIAGNOSTIC “BOOK” TIME

Step #6

WHEN CUSTOMER LEAVES MAD AFTER 4TH VISIT FOR FAILED REPAIR SEND INTERNAL REFERRAL TO SALES DEPARTMENT TO MAKE COURTESY CALL TO CUSTOMER USING EITHER “WE HAVE A CUSTOMER LOOKING FOR YOUR EXACT SAME VEHICLE IF YOUR INTERESTED IN TRADING YOURS IN” LINE OR “WE HAVE EXCELLENT INCENTIVES AND NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY A NEW ONE” LINE

Step #7

WONDER WHY CUSTOMERS HATE COMING HERE...

I also replaced the switch and it did not solve the problem. I refuse to take it to the dealer because they already screwed me once when I bought the truck so I will continue to troubleshoot it on my own.
