EFI V6 to V8 Swap Questions

I have some questions reguarding a 4.3 V6 to V8 swap. First, will the tranny be able to take the power of a 305/350? Are there any wiring issues with the tranny? I know that the comp and all related crap need to be swaped. If anyone has done this, please let me know. I'm planning a project/daily driver Caddy custom for my return to the States. I have a while, so replies are greatly appreciated.

It really depends on what tranny you have. If you have a 4L60E (like me) then the swap isn't possible. You'll have to get a different transmission (preferably a 400R4 or a 4L60E from the V8. We recently discussed this on the board. Go back and find the thread "Motor-Tranny". There are compatiblity issues with the V6 version of this transmission. The way the bolts are aligned are slighly different than that of the V8 version. They are pretty much the same tranny with the exception of this.
