I've recently got a truck that has been sitting for two years. It was my grandfather's that passed away. I've been trying to get it running. I drained all the old gas out of the tank put a new filter on also and a hot battery. The truck won't run. If I keep turning it over it will run a little but really ruff. When it stops white smoke comes out of the throttle body. The truck don't seem like it needs much to get running. I know very little about fuel injection any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok,good to hear, how about a bit of gas poured down throttle body, see if it idles better, that could be low fuel pressure,if worse, flooding?

If it is a 95 it should have TBI. The TBI has prolly been sitting with fuel in it and built up some nice gunk. You could open it up and give it a good cleaning as it may be fueling incorrectly and the fuel pressure regulator could be not working correctly. That would be a good place to start.
