Lockout Protection Overide

My 03 Tahoe has the lock out proctection enabled.

When key in the ignition running, i can not lock the doors.

 

I didnt see anywhere in owners man. on how to overide this.

Any ideas?

 

yes yes, i know nut. id like to leave truck running w/ keys in ignition some times..

I locked mine in running with my spare keyless entry clicker. But I have an '02, but I think I have the lockout protection. I did it when I was traveling with the 'ole pets...gotta keep em nice and cool
