Marlin 336C

Just walked in the door with this new Marlin 336C. My gave away his 30-30 to my nephew. 

That action on that 30-30 was just unbelievable. 

Smooth as silk. No joke.

The new 30-30, is a very nice rifle. The action isn't as sweet, but with some time and use, she should be very respectable imo. 

Overall, I am actually very impressed with this new Marlin 336C 30-30. I'll post a few pics, and keep the thread updated as to accuracy when I get around to shooting it.

Yeah, I really like my trusty Marlin 30-30.  Darn reliable rifle.  I did modify it with a Williams receiver peep sight, as I have done my other lever action rifles.  Just me.  I have a fondness for peep or ghost ring sights.   Mine has shot well with standard round nose cartridges and the Hornady LeverEvolotion cartridges.
