Does Anyone recognize this truck?

I wouldn't buy a vehicle with that high mileage or one that has been modded.

Stock vehicles only.

Agreed, but like Richard Rawlings says, "There is an ass for every seat."

I understand, however the Silverados and Sierras tend to have great drivetrains and are great trucks in general. If it was modded correctly/tastefully, then I wouldn't hesitate. Also, spending 20k+ on a newer truck with lower miles is out of the equation. But thanks for answering my question ?

Hey guys,
In the market for a 2wd sierra/silverado. Saw this one online in NC and was curious to see what you guys thought and if anyone knows whose truck it is. Would like some more info on mods, history, etc.
Cheers-Chris

I couldn’t find, see the mileage. That falls in the great model years for GM. If you’re looking for all those bells and whistles. 150K miles or less I’d consider it a good buy for a truck.

The truck looks like it's been well cared for, and doesn't show any body damage. It's definitely worth looking into.

I wouldn't be worried about it having 14xk miles on it. I bought an '04 with 250K on it a couple of years ago, got a deal, and the truck still runs and drives great.

See if they'll let you have an independent mechanic check it out. If they won't, then I'd walk away.

Should have the non AFM engine, 4 speed auto. Looks not to bad. Price would impact the choice. Could get a lot more miles out of it.

Says 2WD, That is nice. 4L60E is not the best from the factory, but I have seen a lot hit 200K while I have seen a lot of 6 speeds fail by 100K.

4L60E is also easy to build in the home garage if ever needed.

Only question would be the Denali suspension was different than most others and would verify the drop was done correctly. Prolly drop spindles and arms to retain factory strut.

You can verify the engine, etc., by checking the VIN to know what it was delivered with. That suspension mod would be one concern, as would what the transmission fluid looks like. That, plus a thorough look for leaks, brake issues, etc.

You know you won't have any 4WD issues with it! ?
