2014 silverado service stabilitrack screen

I have a 2014 silverado LT with the 5.3 V8 Flexfuel engine, and everyonce and a while while the trucks off and i go to turn it on i see the Service stabilitrack screen come up, but goes away shortly after and theres no other light on the dash besides the engine light( also im curious about that too) just wondering if that is normal or if the truck is telling me somethings wrong, and the engine light issue is running rich in bank 1 and 2 of the engine My dealer where i got this from fixed the High pressure fuel pump, still came on the replaced the MAF sensor fuel rail pressure sensor and the light is still on, only got it a month ago( and if this helps the engine light came on the day i took it home and im just trying to figure out if i should bring it to a chevy dealer

Sorry if this sounds harsh but, If it came on the day I got the truck, I'd be back at the dealer, on the day I got the truck.

Sounds similar to the bad ground issue. Do a search for it. There is a particular ground connection in the dash that I guess sometimes pinched some plastic during assembly and causes all sorts of electrical issues, service stabilitrac I believe is the most popular issue people have with it.

 

Basically there is a bolt that is tightened down for a ground but some plastic dash sometimes gets pinched in between the bolt and the mounting surface.

It's called the G218 ground.  Tell your dealer to look up PIT5405.

Is this one of the many recalls for wiring on the truck? Or is this something that was never recalled? Also thank you for the help

It was not a recall. I don’t recall any “wiring” recalls.

 

it is simply a known issue
