Power Windows?

hi all, Well I would like to add power windows to my 99 GMC . What woudl be the best action to take to due this. Buy the kits from JC whitney? get the componets from a junk yard? any help would be good.

 

If anyone used the kits from jc whitney, are they any good? last?

 

 

I did add cruise control to it, was very simpley and no problems now, been almost a yr.

I just added power windows to my 93 truck....

 

I everything I needed on ebay. I was able to find a junk yard dealer on ebay who sold me all the wiring and motors for the windows.

 

I had a terrible time finding new door panels though, whenever I did find a set they were in poor condition and were going for ridiculous prices. I also checked with two independent junk yards and neither had a set (they are a popular item, apparently).

 

I did notice that 95-00 door panels were more common, however.
