Yaquijuan
I'd like to add batteries to my Silverado 3500 to be able to store more energy, using my alternator and solar panels so we can go off grid for as long as possible. Torklift only makes undercarriage battery boxes for Ford trucks. Does anyone know whether anyone sells something like this for Chevy trucks? Has anyone designed and built a DIY system?. My camper is too small to fit more batteries. Thanks Edited November 16, 2019 by Yaquijuan Misspelled Torklift
1SLOW1500
So on the 2014+ model there is still a 2nd battery tray on driver side. Then a 200amp isolator and whatever you like to hook up.Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
redwngr
Might be easier to store the energy in 5 gallon jugs. https://powerequipment.honda.com/generators
BigWhiteMastadon
I have 12 x 6V 450hour batteries in the bed front custom built box. Attached to a 3000W inverter. Various plugs for specific uses. Can power the 40’ fifth wheel a couple of days. Or run the air compressor of various power tools. That what your thinking?
