Aux battery

So I ran a factory cable 23279188 from primary battery to a relay gm part. Then to my positive aux battery.  With ground to alternator. Right by the primary battery is a plug just poking thru firewall and a new plug for the harness that was ran. Do the two need to be connected for aux battery to function? Cause my aux is not charging back up

Im not sure but it will really be cool to see how you resolve this as I plan to do the same.

Can you post a pic of the connector on the battery isolation relay solenoid deal you have there? I will look under the hood of my truck once I get back home later on this evening and see if I can find a connector that looks just like it. I plan on doing the same so I'll need to know for myself. Some reason I was thinking that maybe it just was a two pin connector. Thanks
