Interior lights 2018 Duramax3500

I recently added Recon cab lights to my 2018 3500HD. Duramax 4 door crew 4x4 longbed. Single axle. 
 

After hooking it up I noticed the push button done lights at ceiling console stopped working. Also a large buzzing noise has started and coming from under the dash near the pedals. It only last about 5-6. It’s never done this before. 
 

I also am wonder how to add LED lights to the foot space when opening the doors. This truck did not come with any lights at all. 
 

Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening and what to do for the fix?
