Shift kits

Are shift kits worth it? It looks to me that they are hard on the transmision.I got a jet power-shift plus and now I have second thoughts about putting the shift kit in!Thanks for any help on this subject.

They only improve the tranny, the stock stuff is too weak, the faster the shifts the better, less wear on the parts. Now too much line pressure is sometimes a problem.

I'd install it and they aren't hard to install.

You can keep the tranny in and the shift kits usually come with instructions and a video.

Don't forget the second gear servo and tranny cooler, the B&M is the best out, I know from personal experience.

Get a TransGo shift kit and some Billet Servos. You will like the effect!!! Head to KDS Performances website to look at stuff. Its where I got my Servos from.
