2001 Tahoe security light/BCM problems

Good evening! Can someone give me a heads up on this BCM reprogramming for the anti theft system(key). I can not get the "security light to go out" after 10 minutes, x3. The fact that the security light keeps coming up onto the display, and stays on makes it seems like it is not going into learn mode. I got a genisys spx otc computer on hand. The headlights dont seem to wanna turn on either. Where does everyone go for the prints for these trucks? Thanks!
PS I wanna do the 2.2k ohm resistor mod, but I do not have a resistor on hand. I am getting the code p1626c and b1001. When I start the struck it goes "run, start, vroom, dies after 1 second"
