2005 Sierra Lift Kit Questions

I am new to the forum and I am considering the Rough Country (RC) 4-6" lift kit for my 2005 Sierra Z71.  A couple years back I bought the RC torsion keys to level the front end.  RC says I need to have my stock keys for the lift.  Anybody out there ever ran across this or happen to know if this is true?  I don't have my old keys they were tossed or lost during a move.  I was thinking maybe just loosen the off a bit after adding the lift.  Any help would be appreciated.

It's possible that could work, RC has no clue how stuff works outside of the kits they sell. I have tried getting them to sell individual parts from kits for custom stuff and they won't do it and will tell you it won't work.

If you have to you can get some stockers used off Ebay.
