Will a 99 tahoe 4 door bolt onto a 01 tahoe 4 door frame ? Minus the difference in running gear difference.

Anything is possible with the skills for fabrication.

 

You're asking a question no GM Tech could ever answer - this isn't something they do, ever. I've been working on vehicles my whole life just about, and haven't heard of this swap, either. Not a common one. It's more common to see a body from the 70's and back bolted to a modern chassis. Impossible to know all the little things you may run into, even though the bodies look the same.

Tky for getting back to me . i have a lot of fab skills been doing these kind of things for 40 years . but getting to the age is it worth the trouble . lol

You might try going to a auto salvage yard and ask if they would check their cross reference database. And see if anything is listed. You might need the VIN from both vehicles.
