my 1997 Silverado 5.7 4x4 is now starting and then shutting off.

Hey Ya'll I need some help here. My 97 5.7 has ha the works thrown at it the last few years. most recently i had an electrical issue  I found 3 melted wires on the harness to the ignition so after replacing all ground wire under the hood I repaired the melted wires and the truck will fire right up run for maybe 2 second then dies. I started it and gave it throttle hard and it revs up but then shuts off like something is killing the fuel flow. everyth replaced in the last 2 years concerning anything to do with fuel and fire so i have check rely all seems good. I never replaced the oil pressure sensor could that b then problem? any help would be great. checking pfuel pressure tomorrow to be on the safe side and rule out the fuel pump i hope. Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the electrical currents going to the tbi eggs?

Ignition switch failure? security issue?

Connection on switch?,I mean cylinder,some come loose,need a wire tie,can't read the ohms properly,spider injection shuts off,ground side from pcm stays open,to prove it's a security issue,spray carb cleaner in throttle body, keeps running? security

It is 8 out of 10 times the fuel pump security relay since the pumps have a habit of going out around every 100,000 or so that would be a good place to start.

This is isn't a thing on these trucks. More than likely, it's an issue with the lock cylinder and/or hall effect sensor in the passlock system (also integrated into the lock cylinder).
