Help!!!! Ok so I bought this truck 7 months ago and shortly after driving it the engine light came on and it had a mis fire long story short it had to have a cam put in due to a worn lobe. So the dealership paid to have it done got the truck back and now it has a p0011 I took it back just for it to sit at the mechanics shop for a month and I got PO and went and got it. I told him how I felt about his work and now that he has been payed my truck wasn’t priority anymore it wasn’t pretty needless to say taking it back to the shop isn’t an option. Took it to the dealership just for it to sit there for another 2.5 weeks before I went and got it from there to. So now after researching this issue I just purchased a new vvt solenoid and a new camshaft actuator. Well I replaced them both today and sadly still have the P0011. I can tell a power loss is present and if I push the motor it will eventually tell me to shut the engine off due to low oil pressure. What do you guys think I really don’t want to tear everything down to the cam but I think that’s my last resort I think the cam wasn’t installed correctly or maybe a tooth out what is your opinions I’m getting very frustrated on making a truck payment on a truck I can’t drive.
