best oil in a 2000 sierra 4wd 33,000 miles on

What is the best oil for a Sierra with 33k on it? I amlooking for the oil that gives he engine the longest life imaginable. I have heard to go Mobil1 full syn. Anyone have an opinion on this?

Have 57,000 kms on my 2000. I have used 5W30 Mobil1 full syn since first oil change. Has the cold start knock but no engine problems otherwise.

I have run Mobil 1 Synthetic since the first change on my 1995

Z71 (5.7). I have also run the Mobil 1 in my '92 Z28 (5.7) since day one. I had it dyno'd last year at ProDyno and they said it was the strongest stock 5.7 they had ever tested (224hp at the rear wheels). The stock 5.7 is rated at 245 but the rear wheel HP is actually around 190-210. Don't use any of the commercial additives (teflon) with the Mobil 1. I have over 90,000 on my truck. Just my Synthetic .02 cents.
