Power plant swap

Ok. I'm new here. I have a 2000 Silverado with a 4l60e and a 4.8 that i want to swap it out for a 5.3 and a 4l60e that I found. Does anyone know if an 02 engine and tranny with all the wiring and computer will fit for a power plant swap or no?

It should, i believe it will even run on the current computer 4.8l engine tune, you can either swap the computer and body control module out of the donor power plant, or just get the current computer re-tuned by a tuner or find a friend with an hp tuner

You would need the engine wiring harness that fits the engine model as well as the ECM. They will need to be tuned. If the engine comes with the harness and ECM you're fine.

Thanks guys. The swap has the em and wiring harness with it. Guess I'm gonna tackle that badboy sooner rather than later.
