Frustrated over body parts

I know this is my first post but I need to vent somewhere. I have 2019 Silverado I bought the end of October. On December 10 a deer decides to crash into my drivers side rear door.

Body shop says needs a new door skin. Ok

Well here is is 1/24 and they are telling me it wont be in until Feb 28.... WTH

12 weeks to get a damn part? What kind of service is that?

Called customer service but they are worthless.

Very disappointed in GM right now.

Pray none of you get in accident that needs body  parts..

Story. I got in an accident with a deer 10/19. Had vehicle 1 month. Most of the parts came except for the bumper. Time 8 to 12 weeks. Emailed Alan Batey [NA VP at the time, retired now]. This was on a Tuesday. His Exec Assist,  calls me and the dealership and reports they are pulling 3 bumpers off the line and shipping them. They arrived by Saturday, 1 at the Bodyshop, 1 at the Dealership, 1 lost in transient. So I got my bumper and the work commenced. But the strike has put the sending of parts out in a big hole.

Seems as if the site is filled with 1 and done post people here.

Look around...lot's of knowledgeable people on these boards.

I bought a 19 AT4 just before Christmas and it had a Lot ding in the front LH fender and a scratch on the right side. Dropped it off on the 4th January and they could not get clips from GM to reassemble the truck. Picked it up on the 24th and it looks sharp.

Just weird that something as simple as body clips are not in stock.

Hopefully they are catching up from the bogus union crap and everything will be back on track again.

Had some dumb a** in a FORD F250 with Trailer mirrors taker off my D/S mirror on Black Friday.  Parts just came in last week.  Off to the shop on Tuesday,
