Best Tuner for 2017 6.6L Duramax?

I am sure there is a thread here, but I am not having any luck finding - can anyone with experience point me in the right direction of best tuner / tune for my truck to unleash the power of this beast? Just got a lift and new tires, and need to calibrate and would like to at the same time really get some power out of this beast of a motor. Again, please point me to another thread if this has been discussed at length. Any help is much appreciated!

You could find a shop that does work with HP Tuners but this is going to cost you a ton of money. The L5P computers are very complex and require replacement to actually program them like most people want.

It's anywhere from $1,800 to $2,400 plus the cost of credits, which is $500. Then you have the tuning cost and dyno time on top of this fee.

Your other option is the Banks Derringer Tuner, it's a plug in device that has been dyno proven to add horser power and torque. Gale Banks has several video's on his youtube channel to back up these claims. I don't know what there is for doing a speedo calibration though.

I just got the banks derringer and the banks cold air intake. What a difference!!! The idash is absolutely amazing. Name a part on the truck and you can monitor it.

I agree with Cooley. I have the derringer, iDash, and intake on my 3500. From stock, it’s like night and day. Banks is a mad scientist when it comes to the L5P

Thank you all for the feedback, I really appreciate the info - in addition to the tuners, I am concerned that my shifting points, and anything like Banks canned tune will not account for my lift and tire size - is there anything that you guys know of or have experience with that will account for the lift and larger tires so that the tune will account for this? I was able to adjust the tune for lift and tires on my 2016 f150 3.5 ecoboost in my edge tuner, is there not anything available you guys know of for the 17 6.6L 2500 hd?
