Question about offset

Hey guys, I’m planning putting a 6in lift on my truck along with 35s.  My question is how far does the tire stick out from your truck compare to a -24 offset and a -44 offset.  I dont want the tire to stick way out, but I’m planning on putting bushwaker fender flares on it and I want the tire to match up with the flare as much as possible.  I’m building this truck for looks and it’s my daily driver.  And that’s my bonus question.  Anyone that has done this build or similar, what gas mileage can I exspect after I do this conversion.  I own a 2019 gmc 1500 5.3.
