Console 8" sub replacement (like on k2s)?

I have not seen this done or really even mentioned.  I had bought a box and 8" sub to replace the crappy bose sub on my 2014 gmc but traded it before I installed it.   Anyone know if the bose sub boxes are the same?  Could this box fit?  I'm sure it's not that easy.

This is weird how unpopular this topic is.  This was a hugely popular mod on the K2s.  Maybe literally no one has tried it.
