400 VS 800 Box Mounts

Hey, I  have a 98 2500 ex cab long bed truck. Looking at a service body that is currently mounted on a 99-07 gmt 800 reg cab long bed truck. Whats the chances any box mounts will line up between these generation trucks?

It should line up perfectly cause there were no frame changes. I would say its best if can get under it with a tape measure and measure from bed bolt to bed bolt on both frames. And measure from bed bolt across the frame to the bed bolt.
Most all utility type beds are universal fit for that particular manufacturer. Meaning GM will work on all GM.
I'd put money on a direct bolt on.
As far as lighting it should be plug n play

That’s what I want to hear. Not too worried about wiring the lights, I can figure that out. The truck already has a flat deck so the wiring isn’t original anyway

If you've got a flatbed on it now then there's no issues at all changing them out other than its heavy as shit.

The frame mounting point dimensions should be on gmupfitter.com  You could see if they are the same.
