2015 GMC Sierra Denali 1500 Headlight Issue

Hi everyone,

I have been reading and trying to look into this issue for a while now with no concrete answers or solutions. As I have read I have the common issue everyone has with their 14 and up denali/sierra trucks. I purchased Diode Dynamics SL1 LED headlights and driving lights for this truck because the halogens were so under powered and I have spoke with Diode Dynamics about this is as well. I have not been able to find a resolution but the quality of beam pattern is lacking and at a distance without the driving lights on there is almost an half circle area missing light. I will post some pictures and you can see in the pictures that I feel light is missing. I have tried adjusting them and to see what would work and I am at wits end with this because the quality and ability to see at night needs to be there.

If you have any pictures or insight I would appreciate them because I need to find a solution at this point to have quality light projection.

sorry to say but there is no led light that works good in a gm projector headlight. i have tried 3 different led lights in my truck and they all suck, just send them back. the only option you have that does work is to go with hid lights

I just recently installed two LED lights in my 14 sierra SLT. It's better than stock halogens, but the beam pattern still doesn't seem good enough. I keep messing with it each night, and adjusting/realigning the bulb in hopes to perfect it. Last nights adjustment seems better, but still not quite perfect.

I'm curious what others are doing as well.

I've been contemplating either just going back to halogens (silverstar ultras) or picking up an HID kit.

I have a 2014 Sierra Denali.

I installed these about a year ago and have been very happy with the light output. Infinitely better than the stock halogens. Yes, the error cancellers were needed.
