New Fuel Pump Installed

Recommended Posts

Posted

I recently installed a new OEM fuel pump in my 2013 by using the bed tilt method.  Pump from local delco parts house was 375 bucks.  To get it done at local chev dealer was $1100.00. Net result, worth the time/effort.  If anyone has any questions or concerns about doing this hit me up an Ill try to answer them.  I was having a bit of a labored cold start, this solved the problem.

Nice!

I changed out the pump on my 2002.  I just took the bed off.  A friend of mine and myself just lifted it off.  Easy peazy.   Mine was getting to be like yours and hard start when cold.  My fuel pressure was low as well.  new AC Delco pump and all is well.
