Adding automatic locking rear differential

I have a 2020 Silverado 1500 2wd. 4.3 liter, 6 speed transmission, 3.42 gears. Would like to add an automatic locking rear differential, but not a lot of info on available units out there. Does anyone have any suggestions? Not doing major off-roading, but mostly concerned about unimproved boat ramps, or getting off the side of the road in wet grass or light mud. Thanks.

The stock locker in Silverado's for many many years has always been an Eaton G80... Not sure who you'd work with to get that added, maybe a transmission shop? A locking rear end should be standard on ALL pickup trucks IMO... I've been very happy with mine.

Thanks. I can install myself. I just haven’t found any info online specific to what is available for new trucks. I just wanted to get forum feedback and avoid calling around.
