Source for automatic dimming exterior mirrors?

Recently the power fold motor on the driver side mirror (non-trailering) of my 2009 GMC Sierra 3500HD SLE has apparently stripped out.  I spoke with my next door neighbor (a mechanic in the service department of a local CarMax dealership) and he recommended replacing the entire mirror unit, but here’s the rub - I’ve searched high and low, and for the life of me I can’t find a replacement mirror with the full feature set of the existing mirror.  My current mirror unit has:

  • Power control/operation
  • Power-folding
  • Heated glass/defogger 
  • Integrated turn signal
  • Automatic dimming 

 

There are a ton of aftermarket mirrors out there which incorporate all these functions, save one - the automatic dimming feature.  Can’t find a single replacement which offers it.

So - does anybody know of an aftermarket source?  Or is it strictly a dealer part?
