Anybody added them?  I’m trying to find an easy way to tap into the o/h lighting circuit...

Any help would be appreciated!

ps- I went to the upfitter website and found the diagram but it made me even more confused. Ha!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I worked on this little project today and it's done.  Can't wait to see the results tonight- you can see the light a bit during the day so I think it'll be perfect at night.

The wire I tapped is in the O/H console. It's the grey wire from the passenger side plug- If you remove the plug and look into it, the wire is the very top right.    This allows perfect functionality for the new lights!  They dim, they turn on and off with the O/H switch, they work with every door.  In short, they work exactly like the factory O/H lights.

I ran the power wire across the front of the headliner next to the windshield.  Then I loosened the passenger grab handle and tucked the wire in there and down into the passenger fuse box,  Then I hooked up the passenger footwell light and ran the wire across the firewall to the drivers side footwell.  I picked up grounds under the dash.

Hope this helps somebody out!

So I guess that will help me but I think I will try finding that down under the dash instead of coming from up top...

So I replaced the strip LED's with some better quality pod lights.  Brighter, and a more accurate color match to the original lights.

You can see just how dim the interior lights are (they are on in the pics too!)   I also added one on the back of the console.  Nice addition!
