Stuck drivers door

I got an 09 Silverado. Door would not open from inside or out... got it opened and put in a new striker and latch assembly. Worked good for a few days and now it's doing the same thing. Won't open front inside or out... anyone got any info on what's going on

could be your hinges are shot, or perhaps the striker/latch were installed incorrectly, or the door/body is bent

The latch and striker are ok. I shut, locked, unlocked, and open the door multiple times in those few days. Door never showed any sag or noise but it was hit on the drivers side front before I bought it... I owned it for a yr before the door screwed up. I'm not saying these aren't the issue it's weird it just happened. When I get the door open I'll check it out... thanks

The latch control bars, inside the door, are held in place with plastic clips. Sounds like one broke and the bar is slipping out. You'll need to take the door apart once open to check.
