Heater Doesn't Turn Off

Occasionally when I turn the heat on, it won't switch off the heat (I can turn off the blowing, not the temp). I will change it back to cold, yet it will still blow hot air. With the aircon on, it will help make it warm, but, seems silly. I turn it off, and recirc, and usually stops heat from coming in. This seems to happen more frequently when I turn it full heat. It will fix it self after I turn off the car. Any idea what might be the problem? Maybe just change the control panel? Or maybe something in the heater is getting stuck on?

Any idea where the vacuum leak would be?

I don't know when they started this, but in my '03, I had the same thing happen. I had the dealer "re-program" the computer. They said the problem is common.
