1999 Silverado Theft lock Radio

I am trying to verify how to test factory unit. I have changed a battery and Radio no longer powers on. the clock works and i can enter codes but display does not show LOC  or SEC. I have verified power to both inputs on harness. I am able to retrieve the code and called the number and was given access code but not sure if unit is locked or not. IS it possible there is an internal fuse on the  radio side. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Back in the day, there was always a fuse either inside, or on the radio case. Couldn't tell you with anything built after the early 90's.

 

Might as well yank it out of there and check, because it's either that, or it's going to have to be replaced I'd imagine. Stuff isn't built like it used to be.
