Got a new truck and have some questions

Just got a new Sierra, 4.8 V8 Black Onyx

How do flowmasters sound on this truck? I've heard them on a V6 and they don't sound so good. also, does anybody recommend a bedliner-arma coating or Rhino. since i got black, what kind of waxes and polishes do I use, I want to keep it in mint condition, if possible.

I'll tell you what everyone is gonna say Wax-wise, even though I've never used it

but if you don't wanna spend that much, or do that much work, I recommend Zymol Cleaner-Wax(more for the same price), Meguires Gold Class(less than Zymol) is supposed to be good, I'm gonna use it in a few day's for the first time. But My fav so far is Zymol, bt everyone here likes Zaino.

I like the 3M family of waxes myself.  The 3M swril mark remover also does wonders.  Cleaned up all of the swril-marks on my truck from the billions of tiny dust particles here in the desert.  My truck looks great, even through the dust and dirt from not having washed it in over two months.

flowmasters wont sound bad but why use what everyone else does.

i had a custom true dual exhaust bent up with chambered tubes like the old camaros and chevelles

as for waxing i use meguaris gold class very little dust when taking off and doesnt haze even on black

Go ahead and get a bottle of Liquid Ebony.  It is a swirl remover.  It is a professional product.  Last bottle I bought was about $20 for a 1/2 gallon.

 

Use with a machine buffer, and it will remove almost any swirls, which are inevitable w/a black vehicle.

Dittos on the bedliner-I'm sick of mine and I wish I would've spent the $$ on a good spray-in bedliner.  It rattles and the tailgate section keeps coming loose.

my 1990 has the GM fit bedliner and it fits  and works great, I bent one section a little, and that section used to squeak, but now its fine lately
