Dodge quality

A friend at work bought one of the new Dodge trucks when I bought my GMC (February). He has 5000 miles on it. The rear end locked up on him. It appears that the factory did not put the pinion seal in the rear end.

Pretty funny, I bet he was mad, I think id be driving a new dodge right now, But they did not put new engines in their trucks! How dumb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus i'd never buy a first year car or truck. Did that once and will never do it again!

To top it off, the dealer CANT GET PARTS!! He will be driving a Stratus for about a month or two while they wait on a rear end.

My brother had a Stratus rental when his truck was wrecked. He drove it like a underpowered NASCAR.

While that may be amusing, those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

On my 95 Blazer, two hours after picking it up from delivery, the rear end froze on me. Wanna know why? The goomba at the factory finger tightened the lube hole bolt.

Yep, I can add my own story to this. Checked my rear punkin soon after getting my rado, and couldn't feel any fluid, even after putting something L-shaped down there. So I pulled the drain plug, which was tight (no signs of leakage anywhere either), and exactly 1/2 cup diff oil came out!!

These things can happen to anybody!
