Did you notice any gains with this or just more noise??

It seemed to give a little more punch, especially at top end. Don't expect the wild claims of some, even the manufactures. I have seen them claim gains of 30-40HP, and that's crazy! I have never seen a dyno test that showed a gain of more than 10 HP, most tests i've seen get 2-5 HP. The K&N is probably one of the best for air flow. Nice sound when you get on it.

K&N was pretty honesty IMO. They even provided a Dyno sheet when I bought mine that showed a max gain of 7hp with the FIPK. I can believe that...
