Hybrid parts

I got a 2006 silverado 1500 hybrid. That I'm trying to get running looking for parts/information on.i got it pretty cheap the body and frame has  zero rust .its has 106000 on it .but I'm also thinking about just swapping out the engine and transmission,harness,computer and converting it over.im thinking it should be pretty much plug and play?but I'm not sure.my third option of course is just to resell it or part it out any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you can find a donor truck with everything you need, I would totally swap all the stuff out.

 

Around here a clean body and frame of that era is hard to come by and when you do find them people want way too much money for them.

thats probably the route im going to go .but it is saying the 42 volt battery is turned off and the key is missing.so im going to the dealer tomorrow to see if i can get one .because cant seem to find one anywhere else.at this point its personal lol.its going to bug me if i dont find out the reason its not starting ty for responding to my post

those old 42 volt hybrids are worth a pretty penny

 

  Word on the grape vine  is GM was buying them back..(possible  secret recall??)
