I have the non-bose in my LT Trail Boss. I installed the GM Accessories Kicker system with the additional multichannel 32-bit DSP amp. I am thinking of going with the Infinity Kappa 20mx for the dash, 93ix for the front door, and 62ix for the rear door. Any serious modifications, as far as cutting door panels or depth issues for these speakers?

What is the output on the DSP amp? I am planning on upgrading the audio in mine but undecided on the exact direction to go with the DSP I would like to flatten out the factory signal.

200 watt to power the sub and 200 watt dsp to power the speakers.

I installed 93ix in the front door and 62ix in the rear but I used Excelon KFC-X2C in the dash.  I had to take care with lining the Kappas up in the Metra mounting brackets but it wasn't that difficult.

The Kappas use set screw mounts to attach the speaker wires so you'll need to either fabricate your own harnesses or buy ready-made ones and cut off then strip back the speaker-side ends.

I put these in the rear doors:  https://www.crutchfield.com/p_108K62IXM/Infinity-Kappa-62ix.html

and these in the front doors:  https://www.crutchfield.com/p_108R9633IM/Infinity-Reference-REF-9633ix.html

Finally these in the dash:  https://www.crutchfield.com/p_953PRX27/Memphis-Audio-PRX27.html

The doors were easier than the dash.  Crutchfield sent custom speaker install mounts and wiring harnesses.  For the dash speakers, you have to remove the entire top of the dash (one-piece) and cut the connectors and wire the speakers into the existing wiring.  IE - no wiring harness for dash speakers.  You'll need a 1/4 universal to get the bolts in and out on the dash speakers.  It's tight in there.

Do you happen to know the part # or what the mounting brackets are called? I just ordered the same speakers but not from Crutchfield because they're sold out. I was originally wanting to go with the newer Kappa 90CSX but I couldn't find out about the fitment. Any help would be appreciated. Also, are they alot better than the Bose?
