2020 1500 AT4 - Pacific Blue

Hi All.

Recently picked you a Pacific Blue Sierra 1500 AT4 with Premium Package. 

Truck is great. Everyone loves it. Started a few minor mods to personalize. 

Coming from the import car scene.

Will be looking for inspiration, help with a few issues, learning what trucks are for [emoji4].

Welcome to the forum! I searched high and low for a PB with the 6.2 but came up short every time within a 500 mile radius of my city. Settled on White, but that blue sure is sharp! Congrats!

Maybe I’m odd, but seems like a personal conversation to me.

Realistically, if you’re out in AB, the dealer isn’t going to care much about what pricing looks like in MB. Too many variables, like number of local units available, how long they’ve sat on the lot, if they’re pulling it in from another lot, sales starvation vs high demand, yours/their negotiation skills : D

I’ll shoot you a pm for what I was able to shave off the sticker price.

No worries, truck is in high demand for sure and understand if you don’t wish to share it out, respect that.  This one i am dealing on Lists out at 78418 and i have them at discounts with the 0% finance option at 69 and change.  So just under 10K off sticker.  Insists he is at his cost....but they always say that then have that extra 2K to finalize a deal LOL.  Your truck looks sharp.  Enjoy!

How do you like the pedal commander thus far?

How do you like the pedal commander thus far?

It really is far more than a night and day difference. It makes the stock pedal feel incredibly sluggish. Even on the city mode which is what I use.

 

The closest analogy I can feel is going from a 250cc bike to a 1000cc. Just more go on the bottom end. Going back to stock, it’s one of those rock in your seat-c’mon let’s get going-feeling. Hard to go back. But basically just need to step on the pedal more to kick in. There is just no delay on it with the PC.

 

Sport+ mode is just ridiculous. I could only see that being used for track racing. It’ll easily chirp tires or burnout with traction control off.

 

City driving: As for fuel economy, I’m getting better mileage on city mode vs stock by 1-3 L/100km. And worse mileage on eco mode than stock by a similar amount (eco is most likely meant for highway not city). Testing is running through a whole tank on the mode (remembers what you picked at start up). I can say eco mode for a full tank was a test of my fortitude.

The itch is well imbedded : ). Coming from my imports, I’ve basically stripped down the frame and DIY’d it back up the way I want. Lots of learning, mistakes, and triumphs.
Trying to be a bit more tame on this, since it’s brand new.

New badges! Updated with some custom badges with a little Canadian signature .

AT4s, removed GMC. Added 5.3 & V8.

 

 

And forgot to post the custom True Dual exhaust, flowmaster cans.
